Zhuoyue is a PhD researcher in Human–Computer Interaction (HCI) in the Department of Engineering at the University of Cambridge. Supported by full scholarships from Trinity–Henry Barlow and the Cambridge Trust, his research explores interaction design in mixed reality that deepens connections between humans, the physical world, and digital experiences.
 

Zhuoyue holds a Master's degree in Education from Harvard University and an Honours Bachelor's degree in Computer Science with a focus on Artificial Intelligence from the University of Toronto. He has previously worked at the MIT Media Lab, IBM, Stanford University, and the University of Pennsylvania. He brings a multidisciplinary approach to his work, balancing roles as a researcher, designer, engineer, educator, and artist.
